About
The Montessori International Student Council is a non-profit global platform dedicated to empowering Montessori students to express their opinions and advocate for peace and sustainability. We connect national and continental student councils, promoting international collaboration, innovation, and mutual inspiration. Our mission is to ensure that all students can share their views and influence decisions affecting their future.
We emphasize the importance of recognizing and including children's voices in relevant matters, aiming to foster their growth and encourage them to become proactive, responsible citizens. Our platform supports students in developing leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. We inspire students to participate in local and global projects, advocating for peace and sustainability, while fostering inspiration, innovation, and cooperation across borders.
Hva er nasjonalt montessori elevråd?
Nasjonalt Montessori elevråd gir montessorielever over hele Norge en viktig plattform for å uttrykke sine synspunkter.
Rådet gir elevene muligheten til å diskutere viktige saker, foreslå forbedringer og samarbeide om prosjekter som påvirker skolehverdagen for sine medelever nasjonalt. I elevrådet får elevene en unik mulighet til å utvikle lederegenskaper, lære om demokratiske prosesser og bidra til et positivt nasjonalt skolemiljø.
Elevrådet velges gjennom en demokratisk prosess hvor alle montessoriskoler kan nominere kandidater og delta i valget.
Vårt mål er å styrke elevenes stemme og skape en arena der de aktivt kan bidra med sine meninger og ideer.
